In order to better avail of the new gallery feature in WordPress 2.5, you will need to create an image.php file copied from your single.php file, and patterned according to the image.php file from the default (Kubrick) theme in the latest WordPress download. This will actually help you create that cute previous and next image and link as you navigate through the photos in your gallery post. Hat tip to mitten.
