Bong Austero points out the government’s practice of moving the celebration or the observance of a holiday to another day that is adjacent to a weekend. The reason: to promote the Philippine tourism industry.

I actually have a better idea, why don’t they just move the weekend so it would fall adjacent to the holiday? bwehehehehe :LOL:
